Lack in confidence when Presenting
Why is it that people can forwardly speak their mind but when presenting lack confidence?

By Vocal Power
Hi there ASJane,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me with you question regarding the lack of confidence that sometimes arises when presenting.

Most of the time many people think that they have to memorize  a speech. You should never do that, learn your speech instead.

Make a bullet outline and this will keep you on track, learning the subject that you are planning to discuss in from of a crowd will help build your confidence along with the right attitude. This way you will just be retelling the audience what you already know, instead of just trying to remember and recite something written out on a piece of paper. You won't need to worry about 'lack of confidence" if you know the material you are talking about.

I hope this has helped to answer your question!
